A Strategy for Architecture and the Built Environment in the South West
The practice was commissioned by CABE, RIBA, and PASW to establish a strategy that reflected the diversity of the region. SWERDA, GOSW, and English Heritage also sponsor the strategy. The strategy explores five key issues;
- The way we think about the built environment
- The processes we use to develop that environment
- The quality of what we create
- The institutional framework that facilitates or hinders good design
- The creation of the new heritage.
Working with LDA a series of workshops was held around the region. These together with extensive consultation have helped to piece together a set of priorities and actions.
