Sandymoor, Runcorn

JRUD is working with GVA Grimley on the urban extension of Sandymoor. The project has involved reviewing the previous 1999 plan, incorporating new government and local authority agendas on sustainability, density and traffic and transport. Proposals include new housing up to some 1500 units a new local centre, new school and public open space. Public consultation has been an important part of the process. Site briefs and design statements for initial development parcels are also being prepared.
